Gujarat Road And Infrastructure Company Limited (GRICL) has been promoted jointly by Government Of Gujarat (GOG) and Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited (IL&FS), through its group entity IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited (ITNL). GRICL has undertaken the widening and strengthening of the 31.7 km long Vadodara-Halol stretch and 51.6km long Ahmedabad-Mehsana stretch from two lanes to a four lane toll road and provision for toll free service roads on either side of the toll road to cater to local and slow moving traffic. The Government of Gujarat with the commissioning of these projects; leads the way in the providing efficient and improved infrastructure facilities funded through non-budgetary resources on a project recourse basis with no government guarantees.
